Vladimir „Vlado“ Tsvetkov is born in 1967 in Bulgaria. He completed his secondary studies at the School of Applied Arts, Troyan, Bulgaria, Specialty: Ceramics. In 1995 he graduated from the National Academy of Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria, with an MA degree in Conservation and Restoration. Since then he has been working as a freelance conservator-restorer of immovable cultural heritage objects. He has managed and participated in more than 40 projects for conservation of wall paintings, mosaics and archeological structures in Bulgaria. Most of them are heritage of national importance and some are included in the UNESCO cultural heritage list. As an artist Vlado Tsvetkov prefers the means of sculpture and installation and his first manifestations in the field of contemporary art are from 2016. He took participation in ArtVenice Biennale 4 2017, GAMMA Young Artist Competition, Vienna 2017, ROMART 2017 and ARTBOX. PROJECT New York 1.0.
