The young woman proudly displayed her wedding ring for her friends. Around the table at Taco Bell the other young women thrilled at the size of the diamond in the ring and then they began to quiz the new bride on her spouse and married life. She spoke in hushed tones and the group of women occasionally giggled quietly. As the meal ended the bride said one thing that bothered me for weeks. She said,” Just remember; he is just a practice husband. It will never last.”
