Due to a very unusual authorial stance, this diary book is believed to have passed even the strictest selection for the list of the best in its literary genre, as noted by Vida Ognjenović. The famous actor wrote his third book "Everything Passes, Even Life Sentences," in which he presents a dramatic prison diary from Zabela, where he spent two and a half years, having been transferred from the Montenegrin prison in Spuž, where he was for 25 months. At the end of the book, he calculated, as Vida Ognjenović mentions, that he spent 1,669 days in those correctional facilities. "On the thousandth day, he wrote only one sentence in the diary under the title 'A Thousand Days': 'And just as many nights.'"
