This catalog accompanies an exhibition of watercolors from the National Collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum. A selection of one hundred works are illustrated and discussed, ranging from the mid-eighteenth century to the mid-twentieth century and showing the wealth and variety of this often neglected sphere of British painting.
