Computer Graphics Tokyo, now in its fourth year, has gained a global reputation as a premier international technical conference, showcasing high-quality work in computer graphics. Each year, it attracts thousands of participants worldwide, with tens of thousands visiting the exhibition. After rigorous peer review, 34 papers were accepted this year, with contributions from the USA (40%), Japan (30%), Europe (20%), and Canada (10%). This volume presents the proceedings from Computer Graphics Tokyo '86, offering a comprehensive overview of the current state of the art.
