Hunters for happiness is a collection of poignant stories about life at the front and in the de-occupied territories, from which, despite the liberation, the war did not go anywhere. Villages are destroyed, fields are mined, but there live people who believe, care about each other, make plans, smile despite everything. Children and spring return to de-occupied streets. These are concise stories about soldiers and civilians, about how to trust your life to brothers and strangers, about ordinary everyday joys: the opportunity to draw, hug a kitten, not be afraid of silence. About duty and loyalty, fatigue and happiness, closeness of death and fullness of life.
