Pluralism in Europe - one law, one market, one culture?
- 304 Seiten
- 11 Lesestunden
This book explores the ethical dimensions of the legal, economic and cultural challenges that diversity poses to Europe today. The topic takes the form of a question in order to highlight the need for clarification. How much pluralism does Europe need within these three basic areas of ethics? Most articles were first presented as lectures at the Societas Ethica conference in Ljubljana, August 2004. Other articles are presented here as original works. Special significance is attributed to the host country Slovenia, which has meant so much for the history of Europe and its current unification process.
