Liz hegt seit ihrer Kindheit eine Leidenschaft für Kunst, Kreativität und Lesen. Nach ihrem Abschluss in Grafikdesign und Kunst beschloss sie, einen anderen Weg als die typische 9-bis-5-Anstellung zu gehen. Nach vielen Geschäftsideen, Tränen, späten Nächten und zu viel Kaffee gründete sie Louie's Little Lessons Publishing mit einem mutigen Elefanten namens Louie. Die Reihe entstand nach der Geburt ihres ersten Kindes, als sie feststellte, dass es schwierig war, Bücher zu finden, die Mut bei schwierigen Kindheitsmeilensteinen förderten. Sie wollte, dass ihre Kinder ihren inneren Mut finden, Veränderungen anzunehmen, weil es Spaß macht, nicht weil ihnen gesagt wurde, dass sie es tun müssen. Liz' Buchreihe hat Tausenden von Kindern auf der ganzen Welt geholfen und sie hofft, dass sie weiterhin ein Leben lang inspiriert.
