Vater John Trigilio, Jr. stammt aus Erie, Pennsylvania. Nachdem er für die Diözese Erie und dann für die Diözese Arlington studiert hatte, trat Vater Trigilio der Diözese Harrisburg bei, wo er 1988 zum Priester geweiht wurde. Pater Trigilio ist auch ein Kooperator der Personalprälatur Opus Dei.
