Focusing on metacognitive aspects of translation and translator education, this book presents an exploratory study of translation graduates and their professional development. It reveals that many graduates opt for careers outside of professional translation, despite increasing demand and technological advancements. The findings highlight the influence of self-concept on academic performance, career choices, job satisfaction, and perceived success.
