Diese Erinnerungen aus einer früheren Epoche sind natürlich »in die Jahre gekommen«, doch Longs schrullig-sympathische Schilderungen seiner Freundschaft mit H. P. Lovecraft geben ein einmaliges Insiderwissen wider.
