Ab Januar 2019 gelten die neuen Golfregeln. Golf wird moderner und schneller! Vieles ist neu in der 28. Ausgabe der Golfregeln des Deutschen Golf Verbandes (DGV). Zum ersten Mal gibt es neben dem offiziellen Regelbuch auch noch eine Spieleredition, die darauf abzielt, die Regeln leicht verständlich darzustellen und kurz und bündig das zusammenzufassen, was Golfer wissen müssen. Ein Regelbuch für den alltäglichen Gebrauch! Die Spieleredition erscheint im handlichen DIN A6-Format und enthält zahlreiche Abbildungen zur Veranschaulichung der Golfregeln. Die Regeländerungen 2019 sind die umfangreichsten seit über 60 Jahren. Der Regeltext wurde um zehn Regeln von 34 auf 24 reduziert und vereinfacht.
