Since 1948, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has shaped the policies of an entire region, the Middle East. Henry Cattan's book is an attempt to present the facts in a succinct, objective, and well-researched manner, while enunciating his own judicious peace plan. His analysis reveals a fundamental fact, that the conflict is not merely restricted to the territories seized by Israel in 1967, the West Bank, and Gaza Strip, but extends to the whole territory of Palestine.
