An inspiring collection of private gardens (mainly in Mediterranean, temperate and continental climates) of different typologies and concepts sets the visual direction and gives insights on outstanding samples. In addition, step-by-step guides and tips for designing and maintaining the space stand beside evocative content in the form of essays and/or features that explore the topic in other inspiring ways. In short, Gestalten aims to create a book for a new generation of garden owners - readers with a contemporary aesthetic culture as well as a strong appreciation of nature and plants.
