Nach der Revolution von 1989 zog er in die Vereinigten Staaten und begann bald darauf, mit führenden Comic-Verlagen zusammenzuarbeiten. Besondere Bekanntheit erlangte er als Kolorist (Inker), mit Beiträgen zu Reihen wie Buffy the Vampire Slayer und Batman.
