Siru Nicholasi Wintonovi se dostalo za tuto záslužnou činnost náležitého uznání, ostatním však patřičné zásluhy přiznány nebyly. Autorovi se podařilo na základě archivních materiálů a výpovědí pamětníků zcela objektivně zrekonstruovat podíl práce jednotlivých aktérů pomoci a postarat se tak o to, aby jejich práce nebyla zapomenuta.

Familie Fox lebt wunderbar! Jeden Abend wieder lässt Vater Fox ihr die Wahl zwischen einem Festessen mit Ente, Gans oder Puter, die er bei den umliegenden Bauernhöfen stiehlt.
