Roger A. Caras war ein amerikanischer Wildtierfotograf, Schriftsteller, Wildtierschützer und Fernsehpersönlichkeit. Bekannt als Moderator der jährlichen Westminster Kennel Club Hundeschau, war Caras ein Veteran von Netzwerkfernsehprogrammen, darunter "Nightline", "ABC News Tonight" und "20/20", bevor er sich der Arbeit als Präsident der American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals widmete und Autor wurde.
