This series consists of books ranging from elementary to intermediate level and is designed for older teenagers and adults. The units are designed to last for a 50 minute lesson and the materials have been designed for maximum flexibility so they can be used to supplement a coursebook or to construct programmes tailored to particular needs. This textbook contains 16 exercises based on reading texts which have been taken from a variety of sources, such as newspapers, magazines, literature and advertisements etc. The text is accompanied by tasks designed to develop the student's reading skills, comprehension, vocabulary and grammar. Additionally, the book contains a key to exercises and a map which outlines text-types and topics, skills practised and the vocabulary covered.
