Salafism represents an answer to the question of identity and self for Arab generations in the face of urgent circumstances. However, this situation is neither temporary nor fleeting; it remains active and influential, potentially casting its shadows over decades. This is clearly observed in the model born from political awareness during the setback, displacement, and defeat, or another model that emerged from political awareness during the Gulf War of 1991, coupled with a sense of deception from the discourse of the Muslim Brotherhood, which misled them into believing in victory. This led individuals to search within that very discourse for the right path and to identify the source of the deception and the inherent flaws within the discourse itself.
