Bettina Cristiani Bücher

Jesper Juul, 1948 in Dänemark geboren, war Lehrer, Gruppen- und Familientherapeut, Konfliktberater und Buchautor. Er war «gelernter Vater» eines Sohnes und lebte in Kopenhagen und Zagreb. Nach dem Studium der Geschichte, Religionspädagogik und europäischen Geistesgeschichte arbeitete er als Heimerzieher und später als Sozialarbeiter; in Kroatien und Bosnien leistete er therapeutische Arbeit in Flüchtlingslagern. Er entwickelte eine eigenständige Therapie- und Beratungsform, handlungsorientiert und praxisnah, und leitete bis 2004 das von ihm gegründete «Kempler Institute of Scandinavia». Am 25. Juli 2019 starb Juul im Alter von 71 Jahren in Odder nahe Aarhus.

Il bambino nasce "competente" e dispone già di nozioni, valori e criteri di valutazione che orientano concretamente la sua esperienza. Comunemente, invece, ci si comporta con lui come se fosse una specie di tabula rasa su cui i genitori devono imprimere le conoscenze necessarie per un regolare sviluppo umano e sociale. Questo modello nega la sua personalità e induce un deleterio stato di insicurezza. Juul invita, invece, a un'attenta osservazione del bambino, considerato non più come soggetto passivo ma, al contrario, come un "centro attivo di competenze": il passo necessario per un atteggiamento dialogico che possa orientarlo verso una costruzione armonica delle sue relazioni con la famiglia e il mondo.
