The bioregion of Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica, and New Guinea (ANZANG) possesses a special natural heritage that stretches back more than 50 million years to the break-up of the great southern continent of Gondwana.Since 2004, the Australian Geographic ANZANG Nature Photographer of the Year competition has showcased this region's breathtaking biodiversity, its extraordinary fauna and flora, and its dramatic landforms.Wild Australia is an anthology of images from the first 10 years of the competition.
