Charles Ruffolo's guide showcases the transformative power of networking through his unique charisma and engaging style. Co-authored with public relations consultant Shirley Agudo, this comprehensive A to Z manual emphasizes that networking is essential for everyone. Ruffolo argues that anyone can network effectively, sharing personal anecdotes from his youth, a 20-year military career, and his journey to success to illustrate how networking can change lives. The book covers strategies for building and energizing networks, effective communication, and the importance of giving back. Ruffolo, a passionate advocate for networking, founded RIBS (Ruffolo International Business Services) Network, which focuses on training and lectures, and Network-Club.com, an online resource for networking opportunities. He also established the Giving Back Foundation, mentoring minority high-school students in Holland. With a vast database of over 10,000 contacts, Ruffolo has cultivated an international following, known for his ability to connect individuals from diverse backgrounds. His genuine, comedic approach has left a lasting impact on many who have benefited from his insights. Now residing in the Netherlands with his wife, he reflects on his journey as a testament to the power of networking and fate.

Who would have ever guessed that a small-town, ruffian from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania would be earning a good living as a self-proclaimed Professional Networker based in the Netherlands, with a following of thousands? Today, I have not one but three organizations devoted to networking and giving back: RIBS (Ruffolo's International Business Services) Network, begun in 1995, wherein I give speeches and conduct custom-tailored network training sessions for individuals and groups; my Network-Club.com, which currently has over 3000 members, providing valuable contacts, networking venues and news; and my non-profit charity, the Giving Back Foundation, whereby mentors help minority high-school students in the Netherlands to explore career options. In 2000, I held my first Network-Club.com event in Amsterdam with 110 people in attendance. Today those events, which take place eight times a year throughout the Netherlands, attract three times that amount. We expand with franchises to the rest of Europe and the United States. My secret?
