This volume of short stories is about women: their loves, their strength, their oppression and their endurance. The stories are an insight into women's struggles in patriarchal societies as they try and sometimes succeed in re-defining the boundaries that are imposed on them. The stories are a glimpse into how women vindicate themselves: and what acceptance of their realities means to them. The stories have been inspired by encounters the author had while living in the Middle East and South East Asia.
