If someone told you that all our generally accepted ideas about Jesus and Christianityare wrong, would you believe that person? Surely you would respond thatit is a settled matter that the New Testament tells the story of Jesus Christ, thathe claimed to be the Messiah, that he had twelve disciples, that he preached thecoming of the end of the world, and that he was sentenced to die on the crossby the Jewish High Priests and by Pontius Pilate. And yet remarkable ancientdocuments have come to light since World War II that contradict the truthof all of the above and that show that Jesus was indeed not a Christian by anydefinition of the word.
