Die vorliegende Dokumentation ist das Ergebnis einer Befragung in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, in Österreich und im deutschsprachigen Raum der Schweiz über die im Jahre 1972 abgeschlossenen, laufenden und geplanten Forschungsarbeiten aus dem Gebiet der empirischen Sozialforschung. Zu über 1200 Projekten sind bis zu 13 verschiedene Angaben zusammengestellt worden, so z. B. Thema der Untersuchung, benutzte Forschungsmethoden, Zugänglichkeit von Veröffentlichungen über das Projekt und von dessen Primärmaterialien und am Projekt beteiligte wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter. Diese Informationen sind durch drei ausführliche Register erschlossen. This inventory is the result of a survey conducted in the Federal Republic of Germany, Austria and the German-speaking cantons of Switzerland. The aim was to elicit information about empirical social science projects concluded, ongoing and planned in 1972. Up to 13 different particulars about more than 1200 projects have been compiled, e. g. theme of the project, research methods used, availability of publications about and primary date of the project and names of the researchers working on the project. Access to relevant information is facilitated by three extensive indexes.
