Sie erzählt von den einfachsten Dingen in seinem Park: der Schönheit des Morgens, den glitzernden Tautropfen, den sich öffnenden Blumen und den geschäftigen Bienen. Leon folgt ihr in den Garten, lauscht den Vögeln, riecht an den Blumen und fühlt die wärmende Sonne. Er beschließt, dieses Glück und seinen Dank an die Schildkröte für immer im Herzen zu bewahren. Das Buch eignet sich hervorragend zum Vorlesen vor dem Schlafengehen und weckt Vorfreude auf den nächsten Tag. Doch beim Betrachten der wunderschönen Illustrationen vergeht die Zeit wie im Flug, sodass man aufpassen muss, dass es nicht zu spät wird.
