This is the story of a hen who got lured by a fox, intent on eating her. Can anyone save her? When the book is closed it looks like a hen, when fully open it becomes the farmer, who helps the hen and scares the fox away. The book's pages change meaning as we read them, the illustrations combine with each other to create the figure of the farmer, and the farmer's wife on the reverse.
Flat Zoo is a book about animals. The story compares the natural abilities of each animal and it celebrates our differences. The book comes with punch-out shapes which can be stacked up in different ways to make each one of the characters. You can read the story while you play with the animals.
