The first Arab stallion brought to Britain (in the 1830s) from the Desert of Arabia was Padischah, whose pure-bred line still exists. This book provides an illustrated account of the Arab Horse, its origins and development of strains. It also offers a record of the desert-bred horses imported after Padischah.
