Willie Rushton war ein englischer Karikaturist und Satiriker, der das Satiremagazin Private Eye mitbegründete. Sein Humor zeichnete sich durch scharfen Witz und ein feines Gespür für gesellschaftliche und politische Kommentare aus. Rushtons Einfluss reichte über Karikaturen und Satiren hinaus bis in die Comedy und darstellende Kunst, wo er sich als bemerkenswerter Unterhaltungskünstler etablierte.
