Melanie Kleins erste Kinderanalysen

In this study, which has received several awards, Melanie Klein‹s original notes on her first analysis of children in Berlin from 1921 to 1926 are examined and published for the first time. The author documents how the methods of treatment developed at the beginning of child analysis, how they could be distinguished from contemporary theories, and how clinical experience gradually led to more suitable concepts. This is a work of extraordinary relevance for the development of psychoanalysis of children in theory and practice but also for the treatment of adults.
