At the age of ten in the mid-1970s, David Marcum discovered Mr. Sherlock Holmes and realized that the original 60 Canonical adventures would never suffice. This sparked his life-long desire to write and contribute new stories to the Sherlockian universe. Over the years, he collected and chronologized thousands of traditional Sherlockian pastiches. In 2008, while laid off during the Great Recession, he turned to Watson's Tin Dispatch Box, producing The Papers of Sherlock Holmes. Initially shelved, these first nine short stories were later published by a small press in 2011 and then by MX Publishing in 2013, marking the beginning of his prolific journey. Since then, David has edited over 60 volumes, primarily Sherlockian anthologies, and has written over 80 Sherlockian adventures. These stories are now being collected, with previously unpublished works included. The first five volumes feature the majority of David's Holmesian tales, with more to come in 2022. Join us in returning to Baker Street to uncover more authentic adventures of Sherlock Holmes, as described by Dr. Watson as "the best and wisest . . . whom I have ever known." The game is afoot! Volume II includes five short stories and a novel, featuring titles like The Mystery at Kerrett's Rood and Sherlock Holmes and The Eye of Heka.
