Fulla (Stefania) Horak, a survivor of Soviet labor camps, emerged from darkness and atheism to become a mystic through divine grace. She was granted visions of Purgatory and Hell, conversing with saints and receiving profound teachings on how to attain eternal salvation. Among her spiritual encounters, St. Magdalena Zofia Barat provided guidance on living a virtuous life. Fulla also received insights about specific individuals and a vision of Poland's future. Purgatory consists of countless diverse circles, including those of Hunger, Fear, Terror, and Suffering. The longing for God, a fundamental state of the penitent soul, intensifies as one approaches the Eternal Light. Contrary to expectations, this proximity amplifies the soul's yearning for union with the Divine, culminating in the highest intensity of longing in the final circle. Souls can manifest to the living, transcending physical laws, as they exist beyond material constraints. They are governed solely by Divine Laws and may communicate with the living only by God's permission. Before losing awareness of their life’s entirety in the first circle, souls understand the necessity of atoning for their sins. They recognize that even the most burdensome earthly existence pales in comparison to a moment in Purgatory. The joy of returning to Earth, despite its hardships, becomes a profound realization, urging the living to avoid the pains of Purgatory at all costs.
