A short, yet haunting story. Slow quiet horror and loss. Weird. Don't expect a thriller though, it's very relationship based.

Just finished. And absolutely couldn't put it down. Such a amazing story. So many layers and ways to read this. Definitely a favorite. It's about love, expectations, loss, the ocean, the alienness of the ocean and of each human being.

A story I would describe as "magical realism", as how it unfolds is completely unpredicatble and outside of our imagination. Such wonderful language and such an original story of the inner more than the outer world. Can only recommend!
