The company CZECH DUCATS embodies respect for medal makers and the artistic perfection of Czech medals, reflecting the soul, history, and cherished memories of the nation. The work of Jiří Harcuba has always captivated us; each artifact bearing his signature encapsulates these values. CZECH DUCATS aims to offer numismatics enthusiasts meaningful contributions through its medals, minting lasting values. Unfortunately, we missed the opportunity to collaborate with Professor Harcuba, who passed away in 2013, three years before our establishment in 2016. Despite this, we have always felt a profound connection to his artistic expression and recognize the debt owed to his legacy by Czech society. Thus, we resolved to revive his memory and engrave his name into public consciousness, a task made possible by the generosity of Harcuba's heirs, for which we are deeply grateful. We are also thrilled that Dr. Pavel Kosatík, a well-regarded writer and historian, has been inspired by Harcuba's work and has chosen to write a book about his life and his contributions to medal and glass art. We are proud to have played a small role in the creation and publication of this important work. Yours CZECH DUCATS.
