Deadly Election

Set in first-century A.D. Rome during Domitian's reign, Flavia Albia, daughter of the renowned private ex-informer Marcus Didius Falco, returns to the city for work after a family break. Her investigation begins with a mysterious corpse discovered in a chest at the family auction house. As the senior family representative, Albia is tasked with uncovering the identity of the deceased, the motives behind the murder, and the circumstances that led to the body being hidden in the chest.
