The section on the management of liver diseases deals with the general management, nutrition, andprescribing for other conditions when liver disease is present. There are major chapters on hepatocellular carcinoma, and on transplantation. An appendix contains the sheets on patient education produced by the American Liver Foundation. There are also appendices covering the geography and historyof liver disease, and industrial liver disease.
