„Sonatine für Klavier“ ist eine meiner letzten Kompositionen aus dem Sommer 1991, die ich auf einem Atari ST kopierte. Ich habe die originale Titelseite und handschriftliche Korrekturen erhalten. Während meines Studiums am Konservatorium in Zürich spielte ich das Stück ein Jahr später bei einem Studenten-Konzert und habe eine Aufnahme davon auf meinem YouTube-Kanal.
Komponiert 1988 in Zürich für ein Holzbläserquartett, basiert das Werk auf dem Weihnachtslied 'Adeste fideles' und umfasst fünf Variationen. Besetzt ist es mit Flöte, Oboe, Klarinette in b und Fagott.
“Christina“ is my third and so far my last piece written for a band. All those compositions are very different in style, “Christina” and “Walzer” being tonal. This last piece reminds of a summer festival maybe with a turning carousel. Being written in 3/4, it has also the character of a waltz. The instruments of the band are the following: Flute, Clarinet in Sib, 3 Saxes (S-A-T), Trumpets in Sib, Flicorno Mib, Flicorno Sib(Bombardino), Bariton(Euphonium or Trombone), Basso (Tuba), Percussions(Cassa, Tamburo, Piatti). „Scherzo“ was composed around 1988-89 for a band in Switzerland. It is my first piece for a band, after it I wrote another two. During the early 90s Tango was becoming more and more famous. At that time I composed my version of Tango for a piano quartet.
