Eva Bonné , 1970 geboren, studierte amerikanische und portugiesische Literaturwissenschaft in Hamburg, Lissabon und Berkeley. Seither übersetzt sie Literatur aus dem Englischen, unter anderem von Rachel Cusk, Anne Enright, Michael Cunningham und Abdulrazak Gurnah. Sie lebt in Berlin. Yelena Akhtiorskaya wurde 1985 in Odessa geboren. Als sie sieben Jahre alt war, wanderte ihre Familie in die USA aus und siedelte sich in Brighton Beach/Brooklyn, genannt «Little Odessa», an. Yelena Akhtiorskaya studierte an der New Yorker Columbia University, ihre Texte erschienen in verschiedenen Zeitschriften. Ihr Romandebüt «Der Sommer mit Pasha» war in den USA 2014 ein großer Erfolg und brachte die Autorin auf die Bestenliste «5 under 35» des National Book Award.
