Wir leben zunehmend in einer Welt der Zerrissenheit. Deshalb ist es umso wichtiger die Liebe, das Gemeinsame und das Beisammensein, die Berührung zu kultivieren und zu zelebrieren. Die Idee zum Thema Berühren kam mir während des endlos erscheinenden Lockdowns während Covid 2019 bis 2022. Mir fehlte der Kontakt zu meinen Liebsten, Familie und Freunden. Mir fehlte die Nähe und die Berührung in all seinen endlosen Formen und Facetten. Berührung ist was uns zu sensiblen Wesen macht, es ist dass was unsere tiefe Menschlichkeit ausmacht, ob physisch, emotional, psychisch, seelisch, geistig und spirituell. Dieses Buch enthält geschriebene und gemalte Reflexionen zum Thema. Inspiriert wurden die Arbeiten von Constantin Brancusi's Skulptur Der Kuss, die Umarmung und der Kuss zweier Liebenden gemeisselt aus einem Steinblock. Die Aquarelle sind gemalte Reflexionen. Manchmal sind unsere Berührungen rot, dann wieder blau und weit wie der Horizont, dann wieder gelb oder grün. Jedes Aquarelle hat seine ganz eigene Stimmung. Alle zusammen, auch mit den Essays, zelebrieren die Berührung, das Eins-Sein, die Verschmelzung, die Empathy, das Zusammenkommen und gemeinsame Sein. Ich bin nur durch Dich, das Ich und das Du gehören zusammen. Mögen die geschriebenen und gemalten Reflexionen uns wieder animieren uns gegenseitig zu berühren und zu verstehen. Gemeinsam sind wir stark. Berühren ist das Fühlen, das Sehen und Gesehen werden. Berühren ist Leben.

We unfortunately live in a world of increasing derision. The age of Imagine, the age of the brother and sisterhood of mankind seems at times slipping into the distance. All the more reason to evoke and instill love, peace and understanding when and where we can. This then is the mission of this small and humble book. The theme of this book, touching, came to me during the seeming endless Covid isolation 2019 - 2022. As everyone, I missed my loved ones, family and friends. I missed closeness and the warmth of touching. Inspired by the iconic and gentle sculpture of Constantin Brancusi's The Kiss, this little book explores and reflects on the theme of touching in words and pictures in the forms of aquarelles. Dolphins are the consciousness of the history told by oceans and rivers. Dolphins know human beings better than we know them or ourselves.
