    • Ein warmherziger, witziger Roman über zweite Chancen in der Liebe Ned ist mit seiner Frau bei IKEA, als sie ihm mitteilt, dass es vorbei ist. Bei Gemma passiert es auf dem Weg zum Imbiss, als sie das Handschuhfach im Auto ihres Mannes öffnet und eine Damensonnenbrille findet, die nicht ihr gehört. Für beide ist die Trennung von ihren Partnern ein Blitz aus heiterem Himmel, der ihren Glauben an die Welt, an Beziehungen und an sich selbst erschüttert. Aber man kann nicht einfach immer nur dasitzen und sich selbst bemitleiden, vor allem nicht, wenn Kinder im Spiel sind, also treten beide - aus sehr unterschiedlichen Gründen - einer Selbsthilfegruppe für Alleinerziehende bei. Man kann sagen, dass sie sich nicht gerade gut verstehen.
