Mit Infotexten erarbeiten sich die Schüler ihr eigenes Wissen über den Islam. Schwerpunkt ist dabei der Koran und wie Muslime ihn in ihrem alltäglichen Leben auslegen. Für die Muslime ist Allah Gott, der Schöpfer; der Tod ist nicht einfach das Ende; der Begriff „Dschihad“ bedeutet nicht „Heiliger Krieg“, wie einige fundamentalistische Terroristen es gerne hätten. Es geht nicht nur um den reinen Wissenserwerb, sondern jedes Arbeitsblatt enthält Anregungen für Diskussionen und weiterführende Erkundungen. Die Schüler recherchieren im Internet, gehen in Bibliotheken und befragen Muslime über ihren Glauben. So betrachten Ihre Schüler Fakten und Meinungen kritisch und können Vorurteilen mit fundiertem Wissen begegnen.
