The resulting loss in production productivity as well as in product- and process-quality additionally affects consumer satisfaction. In the worse case scenario, this could affect the company´s long term success. Thus, the ability to efficiently and effectively develop appropriate and actual implementable technical solutions for technical quality-problems in production systems with the least use of resources becomes a major core competence for employees in production.
