Überzeugt von der Freiheit der Poesie und des Dichters, schuf sie in ihrer Kassandra >>eine klarsichtige und zutreffende Deutung der geistigen Verhältnisse und der Verwirrung im russischen Imperium (vielleicht auch im österreichischen) vor der Revolution<<(so Hans Rothe in seinem Nachwort). Das Drama wird hier im ukrainischen Original und erstmals - in der kongenialen Nachdichtung von Irena Katschaniuk-Spiech - in deutscher Sprache vorgelegt.

Výbor z básnické tvorby význačné ukrajinské spisovatelky a revoluční demokratky, pokračovatelky Tarase Ševčenka v boji za sociální a národnostní svobodu ukrajinského lidu.
