Child malnutrition poses a significant challenge for public health in Bangladesh, where nearly half of preschool children are affected. Despite this, the country has made strides towards achieving Millennium Development Goals, particularly MDG-3, with MDG-4 showing progress as well. The reduction in malnutrition rates from 56% in 1999 to approximately 36.8% in 2014 highlights improvements in healthcare practices and policies. This thesis explores these developments and their impact on child health outcomes in Bangladesh.
