After another busy night at the restaurant where he was head chef, former Army Captain Benjamin "Benji" Winters is closing up with a young friend and protégé when they become victims of Range City's crime wave. Benji is knocked unconscious, but Jimmy is killed in the robbery that ransacks the restaurant. While recovering from his injuries, Benji decides he can no longer sit idly by as innocent citizens are faced with ever-increasing injustice.
