Begleitende Essays zur Entwicklung der Zeichnung bei Josef Hoffmann ergänzen die Präsentation. Die Arbeiten Josef Hoffmanns aus den Beständen der MAK-Bibliothek und Kunstblättersammlung und dem im MAK bewahrten 'Archiv der Wiener Werkstätte' dokumentieren sein Schaffen in dem künstlerischen Medium, das Hoffmann am nächsten war.
