The contributions to this book are the Keynotes and Invited Papers of the 55th Photogrammetric Week held at the University of Stuttgart, September 7 to 11, 2015. Therefore, the book represents an actual snapshot of interesting developments in photogrammetry, remote sensing and geoinformatics. Photogrammetrischen Woche, die vom 7. bis 11. September 2009 an der Universität Stuttgart stattfindet. Diese Veranstaltungsreihe wurde 1909 als „Ferienkurs in Photogrammetrie“ ins Leben gerufen; seit 1973 findet sie an der Universität Stuttgart statt. Heute hat die Photogrammetrische Woche als Fortbildungsseminar und Forum regen Erfahrungsaustausches eine hohe internationale Bedeutung. Schwerpunktmäßig werden folgende Themen behandelt: Bildbasierte Datenerhebung, LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging): Flugzeug getragene, bodengestützte und mobile Anwendungen, Wertschöpfung in der Photogrammetrie.
