Der vorliegende Band enthält eine Auswahl von Beiträgen der Tagung des Ausschusses „Evolutorische Ökonomik“ des Jahres 2000 zum Generalthema „Forschungsprogramm der Evolutorischen Ökonomik - Vielfalt und Einheit“. Die Beiträge des Bandes kreisen um drei thematische Schwerpunkte. Adolf Wagner, Uwe Cantner und Horst Hanusch sowie Wolfgang Weidlich leisten in ihren Arbeiten einen Beitrag zur ökonometrischen und mathematischen Modellierung der evolutorischen Ökonomik. Carsten Herrmann-Pillath, Rolf Walter sowie Thomas Brenner und Dirk Fornahl diskutieren in ihren Beiträgen die konzeptionelle Fundierung der evolutorischen Ökonomie, wobei besonders die methodologischen Aspekte von Raum und Zeit ins Blickfeld kommen.
