The Leittext concept is today a standart part of the initial and continuing training instrumentarium used not only by many companies but also by training institutions which have access to practice facilities. Originally developed for manufacturing and maintenance operations, it has since been expanded to also cater for commercial and service occupations. The concept is soundly substantiated by theoretical research on modern West European and US cognition psychology and also by the activity theories developed in the former Soviet Union and East Germany.
