Russian design

This text provides a documentation of the history of design in the Soviet Union. It examines the well-known design of the post-revolution years, which were characterized by constructivism as well as the design of tools and products which were prevalent in the Stalinist period. The volume ends by analyzing the current trends which determine the contemporary debate in the former Soviet countries.
